"Great Customer Service. Came when they said they would come, and on time. Very respectful, friendly, clean and had the options that we wanted to make an informed decision. All work was done within the time frame."
The problem
What happened.
Tina Dabbas needed a residential HVAC install. The standard contractor sales tactic is to present one option and frame it as the only sensible choice — usually the highest-margin SKU. Customers feel that pressure even when the chosen system is technically reasonable, and they remember it. The install gets done, the customer is dissatisfied with how the decision happened, and the relationship doesn't convert into repeat business or referrals.
Our approach
How we handled it.
Cody Secor presented Tina with multiple equipment + efficiency tier options at quote time. JCE's standard install quote includes at least two paths when the budget and load calc make it sensible — a baseline efficiency option and a higher-efficiency option, with an honest explanation of the cost difference and the lifecycle savings. The customer makes the call. The install runs the same regardless of which path they pick.
Services used
- Residential HVAC install
- Multi-option quote (efficiency + budget tiers)
- No-pressure sales process
- On-time crew + scoped completion window
Outcome
The result.
Install completed inside the quoted timeframe. Tina published a 5-star Google review specifically calling out being given options to make an informed decision, on-time arrival, respectful and clean crew, and the install finishing within the time frame quoted.
Takeaway
Customers remember how the install decision happened almost as much as how the install itself went. JCE quotes installs with multiple options because customers who feel they made an informed choice become long-term customers and referral sources. Tina's review is exactly that pattern.
