Are heat pumps a good fit for the High Desert climate?
Modern variable-speed heat pumps perform reliably down to about 5°F, well below the High Desert's coldest winter mornings. They cool in summer and heat in winter on one system, and current SCE rebates are the best HVAC incentive available locally now that federal IRA credits expired.
