What counts as emergency

We dispatch 24/7 for these.

  • No heat in winter (gas, propane, or electric furnace failure)
  • No cooling above 95°F outside (AC compressor, refrigerant, capacitor failures)
  • Suspected refrigerant leak (A2L R-32 / R-454B and legacy R-410A handling)
  • Suspected gas leak (we coordinate with SoCalGas or your propane company first if needed)
  • Burning smell from the furnace
  • Frozen evaporator coil that will not drain
  • Carbon monoxide alarm investigation (we work with CO detector readings, not against them)

Same flat rate, day or night

Saturday 2 AM costs the same.

Most HVAC companies charge a 50-100% premium for after-hours. We do not. Same diagnostic fee, same labor rate, same parts pricing. Saturday at 2 AM or Tuesday at 10 AM. The job costs what it costs.

While you wait

Stay safe before we arrive.

  • No cooling: close blinds on sun-facing windows, run ceiling fans, hydrate, and stay on the lowest floor of the home if possible.

  • No heat: close doors to unused rooms, use space heaters in occupied rooms, dress in layers, and check that your thermostat is on "heat" not "cool."

  • Suspected gas leak: evacuate the home, leave doors open, do not use light switches or any electrical equipment, and call your gas utility from outside.

  • Carbon monoxide alarm: evacuate the home and call us. Do not attempt to silence or reset the alarm before we arrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as an HVAC emergency?
No heat in winter. No cooling above 95°F outside. Suspected gas leak. Refrigerant leak. Burning smells from the furnace. Carbon monoxide alarm. Anything where waiting is a safety or property risk.
Do you charge more for after-hours service?
No. Same flat-rate pricing nights and weekends. We do not penalize you for the AC failing on a Saturday in July.
How fast do you actually get there?
Same-day in most cases across the High Desert. Most after-hours dispatches are on-site within 2-3 hours. Wrightwood and Lucerne Valley may run longer due to drive distance.
What if it is not really an emergency?
We will be honest. If your problem can wait until morning safely, we will tell you so you do not pay for an after-hours visit you do not need.
Do you handle commercial emergencies?
Yes. Restaurant make-up air, retail rooftop units, walk-in cooler heating. Same flat-rate after-hours pricing as residential.
