Quick answer

New Construction HVAC in our service area typically runs by plan, tonnage, and equipment. Most single-family installs wrap in 1 to 3 days once rough-in is ready. We size to a Manual J load and your elevation, not a square-footage rule of thumb.

JC Energy Solutions provides new construction HVAC design and installation for homes, additions, and ADUs across the High Desert and Inland Empire. We handle Manual J load calculations, Manual D ductwork, equipment sizing, permits, and inspection, with altitude-correct sizing for High Desert builds. Family-owned, CSLB #998538. Call 760-983-2326.

What new construction HVAC includes

The full scope.

  • Manual J room-by-room load calculation on the actual plans, altitude-corrected for High Desert elevation
  • Manual D ductwork design, sized and routed with the framers, sealed and insulated to current code
  • Right-sized equipment selection: AC, gas furnace, or heat pump matched to the real load with no oversizing
  • Rough-in coordinated with your trades, then return for the final set, startup, and airflow verification
  • Mechanical permit pulled and the HVAC inspection handled so the system passes the first time
  • All-electric and A2L heat pump designs for solar-paired or no-gas builds, with current rebate handling
  • Title 24 compliant equipment and documentation for new residential construction

How the job runs

Diagnose → quote → fix → verify.

01

Plan review + load calc

We read the plans and run a Manual J load calculation room by room. In the High Desert we apply the altitude derate so the equipment matches the thinner air, not a sea-level spec sheet. You get the sizing logic in writing.

02

Duct design + equipment spec

Manual D duct layout sized for even airflow and quiet operation, plus an equipment spec matched to the load and your fuel type. We coordinate the layout with the framer before anything gets buried.

03

Rough-in with your trades

We set line sets, duct trunks, returns, and the condensate path during framing, scheduled around the other trades so we are not stepping on the build timeline.

04

Final set, startup + verification

Equipment set, charged, and started up, then we verify airflow and static pressure and document the readings. No guesswork, no "it turns on so it is fine."

05

Permit + inspection

We pull the mechanical permit and walk the HVAC inspection so it passes the first time and the certificate of occupancy is not held up by a duct or a clearance.

Common local issues

Built for our climate.

Altitude changes the sizing

A gas furnace loses roughly 4% of rated output per 1,000 ft above 2,000 ft under the National Fuel Gas Code. We apply the manufacturer high-altitude conversion on High Desert builds so the home actually heats at design temperature.

Duct design is the part that gets skipped

On new construction the ductwork is the difference between a quiet, even home and one with hot rooms and a roaring return. We do a real Manual D layout instead of running flex until it fits.

All-electric and solar-paired builds

More High Desert new builds are going all-electric or solar-paired. We design A2L heat pump systems for no-gas homes and handle the SCE and rebate paperwork that comes with them.

Right-sizing beats oversizing

Builders often default to a bigger unit "to be safe." Oversized equipment short-cycles, controls humidity poorly, and costs more to run. We size to the calculated load, not a margin of fear.

This business is the best! You will not be disappointed. He checked my heating n air system in Bonsall, the reason not working, my breaker was off. And thus found out why my washer n dryer was not working I was able to cancel the order of new washer n dryer, he turned on the breakers . He checked all vents. He alerted me , I needed a filter for the 1 large intake vent. The system is in the attic, everything great, gave me how old system is. Also lastly checked the system outside that changes from heat to air conditioning. (Heat Pump). Thank you JC ENERGY SOL. PS THEY INSTALLED IN MY VALLEY CENTER HOME A SPILT SYSTEM , I LOVE IT!!
